Gareth Hollis debuts with a violent disturbing story of unwilling and unknowing gladiators. Tourists who visit a backwoods town find themselves incarcerated and sentenced to death for the pleasure of the townsfolk. I was turned off somewhat by the gruesome and fantastical spectacles and the obvious, how do they get away with it logic. The final chapter was the tie that binds. Still gruesome and fantastical, the stories come together in an entertaining way. Unique is that all the accounts are written by three characters from their perspectives. An entertaining and unique debut.Product details
